Followformation announces category sponsor Mogo Money
As many of you probably may have noticed by now, there is a brand spanking new “Finance” category on Followformation. That’s because Mogo Money has become the first “Finance” category sponsor for Followformation, helping bring Finance tweeters to the forefront. More information about this can be found here.

Their social media efforts are led online at their Twitter account at @mogomoney. Followformation screened Mogo through its approval process for a regular paid formation lister. We quickly realized that a finance category was needed and hadn’t been considered in the initial pool of categories. We then decided to add the category along with Mogo as its first formation lister.
All the users in the Finance category are determined by Followformation’s data aggregators, and has not been determined by Mogo. Mogo is the only formation lister that is currently in the Finance category.
A little bit more about Followformation’s approval process:
- All accounts must be older than 90 days
- All accounts must tweet regularly (at least once a day)
- Must not engage in “auto” activities that automatically follow and DM individuals on a mass scale
- All accounts must tweet relevant content and must be less than 50% promotional content
